INTRODUCTION
The definition of low vision is based on the measurement quantity of visual acuity and visual field. The World Health Organization (WHO) defined low vision in 1992 as follows: A person with low vision is a person who has impaired visual function after treatment and/or standard refraction correction, and has a visual acuity of less than 6/18 (20/60) of the eye. light perception or visual field less than 100 from the fixation point. The latest definition of low vision includes measurement/examination of contrast sensitivity, central or paracentral scotoma and complaints of increased sensitivity to light, abnormalities in color perception, dark adaptation, eye motility and fusion.
